The purpose of orchard is to have a setting where you can build your project during a 30-day programme: it can be a short film, paintings, a graphic novel, an app, a start up company, an engineering project, music album, fiction/non-fiction book, or a consumer product. It can be anything as long as you believe in it.
We’ll meet online in a group of less than 20, either during the day or the evening, to help you realise your project.
Everyone will have access to the following:
“Brain trust” sessions: present, get feedback, improve.
Digital research library: 3,000 books on art, business, computer science, engineering, literature, maths, physics, and philosophy.
Weekly guest speakers on a variety of topics.
Inaugural launch is online only. A grant proposal is in the pipeline for an office space.
If your project generates an income or is commercially successful, orchard will ask for 20% return.
Our aim is that, together, we can build things we love.
